December 2007 saw two important emerging artists attend high profile exhibitions in Paris and London.

Nancy Kunoth Petyarre from Utopia, and Margaret Lewis Napangardi from Yuendumu were accompanied by Mike Mitchell, of Muk Muk Aboriginal Art on their journey overseas.

It was an important milestone for both artists as it was their first trip overseas.

Muk Muk Aboriginal Art has an ongoing commitment to develop emerging artists through a program that sees the promotion of indigenous art both in Australia and overseas.

These two talented artists were shown in Paris in conjunction with “Galerie Yapa” and in London with “Red – Australian Contemporary Art”.

Both artists thoroughly enjoyed their trip and were able to take some time to visit many of the landmarks in each city.
